Lets continue on to where most of the deceit and twisting in today’s teaching begins, lets continue on to Daniels vision of the 4 beasts.
We have just skipped over one of the stories in chapter 6, where Daniel was betrayed by the wise men of the kings court, and thrown into a lions den overnight. Again, this is good reading, and I urge you to do so. But as Ive stated from the beginning, the point here is prophesy. The stories can be read at your own leisure.
For the first time, Daniel will be describing a vision of his own, and not the interpretation of someone else's dream. And it is in this vision...that the deceit of today’s teaching begins to show itself. Because it is at this time, that the last kingdom of men is revealed in detail for the very first time in Daniels prophesies. This is also the first time that the book of Daniel connects itself directly with the book of Revelation.

The Vision of the Four Beasts
1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his head while on his bed. Then he wrote down the dream, telling the main facts.
2 Daniel spoke, saying, “I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the Great Sea. 3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, each different from the other. 4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings. I watched till its wings were plucked off; and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.
5 “And suddenly another beast, a second, like a bear. It was raised up on one side, and had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. And they said thus to it: ‘Arise, devour much flesh!’
6 “After this I looked, and there was another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird. The beast also had four heads, and dominion was given to it.
7 “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. 8 I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.

The first beast we see in Daniels vision, is that of a lion with eagles wings. By following our original subject, this lion should represent the head of gold, the Babylonian empire. And it does...with the utmost of accuracy.
Do you remember what happened to Nebuchadnezzar? Do you remember his curse? Not only was the symbol of ancient Babylon the lion, the great teacher has woven together the curse that was put on the king that changed his heart. Just as it says here in verse 4.
4. The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings. I watched till its wings were plucked off; and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.
Didnt Nebuchadnezzar’s hair grow so much it looked like feathers? Wasn’t his pride removed, his heart changed, and had has kingdom restored, and was made to stand up as a man that respected his Creator?
I don’t know about you, but to me this is a work of literary genius. To weave things the way this great Teacher does is remarkable, to say the very least.

Next comes the bear in Daniels vision. And again...by using the statue as our guide, all of this symbolism should represent the Medo Persian empire. And it does...perfectly.
The bear is raised up on one side...referring to the stronger side of the empire, the Persian side. It also carries with it 2 very unique features that directly relate to the Medes and the Persians. It carries 3 ribs in its mouth, and the beast is also told to arise and devour much flesh.
Not only did the Medo-Persian empire conquer 3 continents...but it also did so in 3 major military thrusts...one thrust was to the north, one to the south...and one to the west. With these 3 conquests, the Medo-Persian empire would dominate the world for the next 220 years. Their wars were brutal, and merciless. Their power was way too much for the surrounding kingdoms. All failed to stop the conquest of the Medo Persian military, and many countless numbers died in its wake. Much flesh was devoured.

The next beast we see is a Leopard with 4 wings. And seeing the accuracy of the last 2 beasts, I think we can rest assured that this beast will represent the Macedonian empire of Alexander the great.
Alexander the great and his Macedonian empire are the symbol of the Leopard...the embodiment of the Greek philosophies. The 4 heads and 4 wings of the Leopard represent his generals, or Alexander’s diadochi, his successors.
As you can see, not much description is given to the first 3 beasts in this vision of Daniels. The reason is simple, this vision focuses almost all of its attention on the last kingdom of the earth. The final kingdom of men...the legs of iron, that never dies, but rather mixes itself with the clay and becomes the feet and the toes.
This is what those before us understood. This was the cause of the Reformation of the church. They understood the 4th and final beasts identity…

According to the statue, this should represent the legs of iron, and the feet and toes of iron and clay...and it does, it in a very remarkable way.
The reference to the iron legs, is now in the iron teeth of this beast. This beast is dreadful, terrible, and exceedingly strong. If this isn’t and accurate picture of the Roman empire, I don’t know what is. No other ancient empire of this world had the power and force of the Roman empire. None. No other empire was as ruthless, destructive, or as brutal as the Roman empire. None. This empire left in its wake nothing but crucified bodies, severed heads left atop spears, all as just a warning to all those who opposed it. But something else takes place here, because now, for the first time...we are introduced to the feet and the toes of the statue. And this is where the deceit begins, at the description of the little horn.
This beast is described as having 10 horns, just as the 10 toes of Nebuchadnezzar's dream. Daniel said he was considering the horns, or watching them intently. As he was watching, he seen a little horn rising up among the 10, and 3 of the original horns were plucked up by the roots upon its arrival. And in this horn were the eyes of a man speaking great pompous words.
As I stated earlier, all focus and attention is given to the 4th beast in this vision. So much so, that there in no need to speculate here as to who this vision is referring to. So many details are given to this little horn, it is impossible to deny its identity. And don’t worry, if you cant see its identity here, many more details are given in the rest of Daniels visions, as well as the book of Revelation. There is no mistaking who this beast is.
The only way this can be denied, is if you choose to, not because of the lack of its description.
Lets continue reading the rest of this vision until we come to its interpretation. Because there are still many more details to this beast still to come. There’s no need to jump to conclusions just yet…
9 “ I watched till thrones were put in place,
And the Ancient of Days was seated;
His garment was white as snow,
And the hair of His head was like pure wool.
His throne was a fiery flame,
Its wheels a burning fire;
10 A fiery stream issued
And came forth from before Him.
A thousand thousands ministered to Him;
Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him.
The court was seated,
And the books were opened.
11 “I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words which the horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame. 12 As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time. 13 “ I was watching in the night visions,
And behold, One like the Son of Man,
Coming with the clouds of heaven!
He came to the Ancient of Days,
And they brought Him near before Him.
14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom,
That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
Which shall not pass away,
And His kingdom the one
Which shall not be destroyed.
15 “I, Daniel, was grieved in my spirit within my body, and the visions of my head troubled me. 16 I came near to one of those who stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me and made known to me the interpretation of these things: 17 ‘Those great beasts, which are four, are four kings which arise out of the earth. 18 But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.’
19 “Then I wished to know the truth about the fourth beast, which was different from all the others, exceedingly dreadful, with its teeth of iron and its nails of bronze, which devoured, broke in pieces, and trampled the residue with its feet; 20 and the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn which came up, before which three fell, namely, that horn which had eyes and a mouth which spoke pompous words, whose appearance was greater than his fellows.
21 “I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, 22 until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom.
23 “Thus he said:
‘ The fourth beast shall be
A fourth kingdom on earth,
Which shall be different from all other kingdoms,
And shall devour the whole earth,
Trample it and break it in pieces.
24 The ten horns are ten kings
Who shall arise from this kingdom.
And another shall rise after them;
He shall be different from the first ones,
And shall subdue three kings.
25 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,
Shall persecute the saints of the Most High,
And shall intend to change times and law.
Then the saints shall be given into his hand
For a time and times and half a time.
26 ‘ But the court shall be seated,
And they shall take away his dominion,
To consume and destroy it forever.
27 Then the kingdom and dominion,
And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,
Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High.
His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.’
28 “This is the end of the account. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts greatly troubled me, and my countenance changed; but I kept the matter in my heart.”

28 “This is the end of the account. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts greatly troubled me, and my countenance changed; but I kept the matter in my heart.”
We left off talking about the 4th and final beast, but we left off something very important that was still to come in Nebuchadnezzar’s statue. We left off the 5th kingdom, the Rock cut without hands that strikes the statue at its FEET, and the whole statue came crashing to the ground.
9 “ I watched till thrones were put in place,
And the Ancient of Days was seated;

And the books were opened.
Just as its portrayed in the statue, everything in its proper place. Here we have the Rock, that was cut without hands beginning to establish His reign.
Daniel said the vision grieved his spirit, and he wished to know more about the 4th beast. And now, as another first…we see Gabriel the Angel appear to interpret Daniels vision for him. This is something Gabriel will do for all of Daniels visions from this point forward.
Daniel had a request to Gabriel, he wished to hear more about the 4th and final kingdom of men.

As Ive stated, this is the first time we will get a very detailed look at the 4th and final beast, or…the feet and the toes of iron and clay. And the details that are here are astounding. For there is only one group of men on this planet today, that have fulfilled all of theses details. But keep in mind, this is just the beginning…there are still many more details to come.
But that’s later, lets take a close look at what we have been given now…
1. Has the eyes of a man
2. A mouth speaking great pompous words
3. An appearance greater than his fellows
4. Will uproot 3 horns of the 10 on its way to power.
5. Shall persecute the saints of the most high
6. Shall intend to change times
7. Shall intent to change laws
So who is it? What kingdom can fulfill all of these details? There is only one empire that has fulfilled all of these details. And that empire, is the holy Roman empire…
1. Does this empire appear to run by one man?

1. Does this empire appear to run by one man?
Yes, it does. And always has been since its inception.
2. Does it have a mouth speaking great pompous words?
Oh…very much so. Everything this man does, and says is contrary to what this book teaches…
"The Pope is not simply the representative of Jesus Christ. On the contrary, he is Jesus Christ Himself, under the veil of the flesh, and who by means of a being common to humanity continues His ministry amongst men ... Does the Pope speak? It is Jesus Christ Who is speaking. Does he teach? It is Jesus Christ Who teaches. Does he confer grace or pronounce an anathema? It is Jesus Christ Himself Who is pronouncing the anathema and conferring the grace. Hence consequently, when one speaks of the Pope, it is not necessary to examine, but to obey" -Evangelical Christendom, January 1, 1895, pg. 15,published in London by J. S. Phillips.
"The Pope is of so great dignity, and so exalted that he is not a mere man, but as it were God. and the vicar of God." -Ferraris Ecclesiastical dictionary
"The Pope and God are the same, so he has all power in Heaven and earth." Pope Pius V, quoted in Barclay, Chapter XXVII, p. 218, "Cities Petrus Bertanous".
-These words appeared in the Roman Canon Law: "To believe that our Lord God the Pope has not the power to decree as he is decreed, is to be deemed heretical.-I?i the Gloss "Extravagantes" o.f Pope John XXII Cum inter, Tit. XIV, Cap. IV. Ad Callem Sexti Decretalium, Paris, 1685.
"The Pope is not only the representative of Jesus Christ, he is Jesus Christ himself, hidden under the veil of flesh." Catholic National July 1895.
"The Saviour Himself is the door of the sheepfold: 'I am the door of the sheep.' Into this fold of Jesus Christ, no man may enter unless he be led by the Sovereign Pontiff; and only if they be united to him can men be saved, for the Roman Pontiff is the Vicar of Christ and His personal representative on earth." (Pope John XXIII in his homily to the Bishops and faithful assisting at his coronation on November 4, 1958).
"And God himself is obliged to abide by the judgment of his priest and either not to pardon or to pardon, according as they refuse to give absolution, provided the penitent is capable of it." -Liguori, «Duties and Dignities of the Priest», p.27
Enough said, or do you need more? Because we could fill page after page of these quotes from practically every pope to ever hold office. There isn’t enough time left in this world to list all of the pompous things said by those in power of the Roman catholic empire.

Yes, it does…the Roman catholic empire is the only church based empire that ever in recorded history. It claims a spiritual supremacy, one greater or higher than its counterparts.

Oh yes, very much so. And there is nothing left of them to this very day…
The Heruli were subjugated by the stronger Ostogoths, who joined forces with the Vandals and invaded Italy in 488 AD. In 535 AD, emperor Justinian took Rome back from the Gothic rule with all the blessings from the Roman Catholic church. During this same time, around 533 AD, Justinian also dispatched a fleet of 500 ships to Africa, another Gothic stronghold, and took their king Gelimer back to Constantinople as prisoner.
In 552, after a brief rebellion under the leadership of the Gothic king Totila, the Ostrogoths, along with the Heruli and Vandals lost their national identity.
Out of the 10 original districts of the ancient Roman empire, only these 3 no longer remain today. All because of the strong influence of the Roman Catholic church.

Did the Roman Catholic church persecute the saints of the most high?
Can you say inquisition? How about inquisition’s…because their was more than just one. There was the Medieval Inquisition of 1184, the Spanish inquisition of 1478, and then the Roman inquisition of 1542.
Millions died for the right to seek YHWH on their own. The Roman Catholic church disagreed.
Has the Roman Catholic church changed times?
Every single time you look St. Gregory’s calendar we use today, you are being influenced by the Roman Catholic system. The Gregorian calendar we use today is based on the suns cycle, which is completely opposite from the calendar given in the old testament of the bible. The calendar given to the Jewish people was a moon based calendar, that followed the 30 day cycle of the moon. And, let us not forget…the Roman Catholic church is also the deciding force behind moving the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday.
Its interesting to note how all the influence of the Roman Catholic system, points directly to pagan sun worship.
Has the Roman Catholic system changed laws?
Who’s laws, mans laws…or the laws put in place by the Mosaic covenant of the bible? If we look at mans laws, these are always changing by every governing authority in the world. But if we look at the Mosaic laws in the bible, only one group has changed them. And that is again, the Roman Catholic system. The powers that be in the Roman Catholic system will swear up and down that nothing has been changed, but this is proven to be untrue just simply by walking into any of their churches around the world.
This is the first command of the Mosaic law…
You shall have no other gods before me.
You shall not make for yourself a graven image,
or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above,
or that is in the earth beneath,
or that is in the water under the earth;
you shall not bow down to them or serve them;
for I the LORD your God am a jealous God,
visiting the iniquity of the fathers
upon the children to the third and the fourth
generation of those who hate me,
but showing steadfast love to thousands of those
who love me and keep my commandments.
The powers that be in the Roman Catholic system rid themselves of this command because they didn’t like it. But this left them with a very unique problem, because now the 10 commandments, have now become the 9 commandments, which doesn’t sound right. So to fix this problem, the powers that be changed the last command in the Mosaic law and split it in two, and brought the count back to 10. See it for yourself on the Vatican website. Their not shy about it, they actually seem quite proud of their accomplishments.

So, is there anyone else in the history of man that has the ability fulfill all the prophesies of the books of Daniel other than the Roman catholic system?
If you aren’t convinced yet, you soon will be. Because remember, this is just the first time the Roman catholic system is mentioned. It is mentioned again in great detail in chapter 11 of Daniel. Which send the detail count way past just 7
But it doesn’t stop here…
We still have the book of Revelation to contend with…and that is where the details of this system are absolutely impossible to deny.
