The second seal…
3 When He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come and see.” 4 Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword. Revelation 6
Again, we have to use the bible to interpret the bible. Who is the rider of the red horse?
This is an easy read, because this is mentioned in several parts of the book of Revelation of the Messiah. In the letters to the seven churches we have this…
8 “And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write,
‘These things says the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life: 9 “I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. Revelation 2

Here you get a chance to see the correlation between the seven letters and the seven seals. Because here we are on the second seal, and here in the second letter we have the first mention of Lucifer. Then in the third letter, we see him getting settled in his new home…
12 “And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write,
‘These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword: 13 “I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. Revelation 2
As you can see the two sections of Revelation resemble one another. You have the ‘red’ horse in the second seal, and the first mention of satan in the second letter. But it is right here we get a chance to see the ‘red horse’ in a different form; as a dragon…
3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. 4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. 5 She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. Revelation 1
Chapter 12 of the book of Revelation begins another viewpoint of the Messiahs story. The chapter starts out with an appearance of a woman; she is clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and a garland on her head of 12 stars. This woman is Israel, and the 12 stars are symbolic of the 12 tribes of that nation. The woman is with child, and as you can see in the verses you‘ve just read, she had a Son, and that Son is the Messiah.
As it states here in verse 4 of chapter 12, the dragon stood before the woman to devour her Child as soon as He was born, but He was caught up to YHWH and His throne. This dragon is lucifer, and the Child is the Messiah. The dragon was ‘fiery red’…the exact same color as the horse in the second seal.
The bible also tells this same story as here chapter 12 of the book of Revelation from another view point in the book of Matthew…
16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men. Matthew 2
So exactly as its is said in chapter 12 in Revelation, the ‘dragon stood before the woman to devour her child as soon as He was born’
This horseman is satan, and he was cast to the earth as soon as the Messiah finished His work…
7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Revelation 12
After the Messiah returned to His Father, there was no more place for Lucifer, so he and his angels were cast to the earth, and he’s been here ever since.
As we read in the second and third letters to the churches, he was here during the second church, and had established his throne by the third letter. Lucifer has been stuck on this planet ever since the Messiah accomplished His task. Something the churches of today completely deny.
So as you can clearly see, the ‘fiery red horse’ of the second seal is lucifer.
